For the first time ever Wizard will have an open air main stage. The new stage is a huge half orbit structure that will be fully rigged for spectacular light shows and improved sound set in the idyllic surroundings of the New Deer countryside.

The Banshee stage line-up has been announced for Wizard. 20 up and coming acts from across Scotland have secured a slot on the festivals Banshee stage, to perform in front of thousands of fans.

The acts announced for Friday are: aKa-SKA, Gerry Jablonski, Indian Red Lopez, OnTheFly, Make Sparks Iain McLaughlin & the Outsiders, Three Knots and Velvet Audio.

Saturday's line-up has been announced as: The Folsom Five, Grousebeater Sound System, Three Blind Wolves, Brothers Reid, Kid Canaveral, The Side, Right Hand Left, In Atlanta, Cast of the Capital and JJ Bull

Aberdeen favorites The Little Kicks and Celtic Rockers Celtallica have also been announced securing a main stage slot.

Our Campervan and Caravan passes sold out!  However organisers have made another 50 tickets available for festival fans, these are likely to be snapped up quickly so it's advisable to book early if you are looking for one.  Passes are available via ticketmaster,  see the tickets page for more information.

More top name DJ’s make their way to Wizard as the festival’s dance stage secures some of the UK’s best DJ acts. International DJ CagedBaby aka Thomas Gandey, takes the festival’s headline slot on Friday 27 August in the Snafu dance arena.

Also announced over the weekend are: Silicone Soul, A'LA FU (BIG DADA), Harvey Mckay (SOMA), Adam Ackers, Greg Gibb, Lunik, Glen Scislowski, Mr Green, Yoin, Krazzy Martin, PEDS and Cheynie.

In a bid to support fledgling DJ talent from across Scotland organisers have announced a DJ competition with up to eight spaces available to DJ’s that submit their mixes to the festival. A panel of specialist DJ judges from Aberdeen based club Snafu will judge the best acts. Submit demos to: wizard@clubsnafu.com

Top class act James have been announced as Wizard’s Friday headliner, so come sit down with us as we celebrate at one of Scotland’s best wee festivals.

Wizard announce 3 class acts for this years festival with legendary Brixton collective Alabama 3, the official tribute to Manchester's finest The Complete Stone Roses and Isle of Skye's Celtic masters the Peatbog Faeries.

The closing date for 2010 demo applications has now passed, a big thank you to all who applied, the selection process has now begun and those chosen to perform at the festival shall be contacted over the coming weeks.

Trader applications are now closed and all pitches have been allocated, thanks to all those who applied.

Confirmed to headline the main stage on Saturday August 28 are iconic “madchester” act The Happy Mondays.

2010 Tickets are now on sale online via official agents Ticketmaster, Tickets Scotland, See Tickets and Skiddle. There is no increase in ticket price this year and they remain at 2009 prices.
